Yummy inexpensive food --- many lunches are between $3-5; most meals are $5 or less. Atmosphere not top flight, though there is very friendly service. If you want to support downtown, visit Cheffrey's.

I think that Cheffrey's has the best food in Altoona. You can't beat a hot, homestyle dinner that is
under $5. Im sick of pizza and subs, that's just about all you can get around here. Im so glad they opened in Altoona. Outstanding food & service!!!!!!

Great downtown business at the bottom of the Black and Yon highrise where Ultimate Bagel used to be. One of the few places to stay open until after 5. I got their burgers and fries meal and it was great.

Cheffrey's is definitally a great alternative for your work day. I get so sick of fast food so it's nice to be able to have a homestyle meal for under $5 during the work day.

I don't know where to begin... but can you say " STUFFING"
Wow...This place is going to fly with Golden Wings. It's what Altoona needs, and especially downtown.
The meatloaf is so Original. The soup is very Comforting. Plus you can't bet the Prices.

Wonderful place for dining! The prices are quite reasonable and there is a very friendly atmosphere about the whole dining experience. The rating system isn't high enough! I would give Cheffreys a 10!

The food, service, and price are exceptional. What a hidden treasure! If you go one time....you will go again and again. The salmon is my favorite. I agree with the other comment that the rating scale doesn't go high enough for Cheffrey's.

Cheffery's is the BEST restaurants i have ever been to and the blt is amazing... this family resturaunt is going to go really far because the food is great the service is amazing and most of all darlene shana and jeff are the sweetest people ive ever met

Decent food. French Fries are good. What I liked the most happened at my last visit. I went in by myself with my four young children (age 3moths-6 years) and was treated wonderfully. The server was very attentive and the owners made an extra effort to make our visit great.

Great place for a quick, inexpensive, delicious meal. Open for breakfast and lunch, this Restaurant is awsome. I have been eating there since they opened. Very clean and the food is consistantly great!
Their friendly staff makes you feel at home. I think Polly must have been confused about where she was eating. She was probably at Tom and Joes!!!
