I notice that the two other reviews for Pal-Mino's were from last year and they were good ones. In the space of a year and a half the place has gone downhill. I was there with my family on Tuesday December 8 and I had what was hands down the worst meal of my life. My husband and I both ordered the Rigatoni with Meatball...how hard is pasta, right? First, we weren't served Rigatoni, we were served Penne Regate. A small nitpick, I know, but call the pasta what it is or I might think you don't have a clue about Italian food, and I would be correct. The Penne was rubbery; there was a 1/4 cup of water on the bottom of the plate; the sauce was flavorless and the meatball...ugh. They were still red inside and we were told that it was because of the red dye put in the meat. Uh, no. Unscrupulous butchers use red dye to keep meat looking fresh after its sell by date. These were raw and they were sent back so that they would actually be cooked through. There were big white globs inside the meatballs which we debated about: oatmeal or fat globs. I will never go back, which is sad. Some of my fondest memories as a child were my family eating PalMino's Pizza. Oh well.
