Great food! You got to try the meatballs. Decent atmosphere. A little dated (at least for the young'uns). I'll give it a 5 because the service and food are at the top.

The homemade spaghetti is amazing. Love, love, love it! Perfect, as something that simple should be. I went to Lena's for lunch with a friend and our two babies under a year old. I think every waitress in the room helped us with something. I really appreciated the service.

It's ironic that I came across this website this morning. My sister & I both live here in Florida and just yesterday we were talking about Lena's Cafe.......we are dying to have the spaghetti!!! Looks like I'll have to make a trip up there!

Love Lena's! We don't get to Altoona very often but it is usually one of our planned stops. Very disappointed that they are not open on Sundays as we will be going through this Sunday and had planned on dinner. Now my tastebuds will be depressed & deprived.
